For the second year, Staff Care's parent company, AMN Healthcare, has partnered with HELPS International, whose mission is to alleviate medical problems in Guatemala's rural indigenous areas. AMN is seeking medical volunteers to assist a 75-member medical team from March 29 to April 9, 2014.
Team Esperanza will consist of general, OB/GYN, plastic and eye surgeons, dentists, pharmacists, OR and recovery nurses, general practitioner physicians, and anesthesiologists. For one week, the team will provide surgeries and routine medical care to people in San Cristobal, Guatemala. The following medical volunteers are needed: Circulating Nurses, Recovery Nurses, Anesthesiologists or CRNAs, Scrub Techs, Pediatricians and General Family Practice Physicians.
