Dr. Robert Bösl, Staff Care's 2013 Country Doctor of the Year, has been making headlines across the United States, a testament to the respect and admiration commanded by the achievements of this Starbuck, Minnesota-based physician.
Dr. Bösl was the subject of a story on KARE, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis/St. Paul, in an article titled "Country Doctor of the Year dedicated to Starbuck."
"What I probably like most about him is just his dedication," Vicki Pieske, a lab technician at Dr. Bösl's clinic, told the NBC affiliate. "I think so many younger physicians realize that there's more to life than just their work, where Dr. Bösl puts his work first."
USA Today also published a story about Dr. Bösl. In an article titled "Country Doctor of the Year award goes to Minn. physician," Kirsti Marohn writes that "Bösl's dedication and many years of service earned him the 2013 Country Doctor of the Year award from Staff Care."
"I'm still baffled and tearful about it," Bösl told USA Today. "I'm sure there are many others who are deserving as well. It's kind of humbling to even be considered for it."
