Immediate Emergency Medicine services needed to serve the troops and their families
The Army is in need of qualfied and committed Emergency Medicine physicians for services at Camp Lejune (30 minutes from Fayetteville). The provider can work under any active and unrestricted state license. The provider will be asked to obtain a current BLS, ACLS, and PALS thru the American Heart Association. The provider will also need to have a fee paid and non-expempt DEA. Each doctor must have at least 12 months of practicing experience in the last 36, with at least 6 months in the last 12. The provider will be working either 10 or 12 hour shifts in a Level 3 / Step-down facility. The staff support will include RN's and a PA, and the provider will be working as a solo practitioner. The historical volume of the facility averages 2 patients per hour. The provider must be comfortable in a team enviroment and must be able to use EMR and be comfortable with computers. The provider wil be asked to help treat all ages of patients.
