(Radiology) Locum Tenens
New Opportunity in southern Illinois starting in 2019. This locum position is for a general diagnostic radiologist to cover an average of 1 week a month starting in January. Our client is very flexible on dates, and willing to work around locum providers availability. This is a team environment in a community hospital setting, the hours are either 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm, with no call involved. There could be some weekends too, which are 8am to 5pm and worked like an average day, with two radiologists covering. The average day consists of 70 studies consisting of 10 cat scans, 10 ultrasounds, 10 MR, and 44 plain films. The radiologist must board certified unless they are recently out of school and then the group will consider a board eligible radiologist. MQSA certification and procedures are not required. The group will not cover any travel or lodging expenses so local candidates are preferred. The group utilizes McKesson PACS and a transcriptionist.
