Surgical Pathology- Direct- Du Bois, PA

A medical facility in Pennsylvania is seeking a Surgical Pathologist for full time coverage for a minimum of 3 months. Pathologist must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship trained, and hold a current Pennsylvania license. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Will rotate weekday call to cover frozen sections and clinical issues from 8 AM to 8AM the following morning, rarely will get called back in after leaving for the day. Required twice monthly frozen section coverage at hospital about 45 minutes away. The position will consist of mostly surgical cases, cytology cases, but NO GYN or autopsy cases. The most common specimens include GI, fluids, lymphoma, breast, lung. The pathology assistant will handle grossing. Immunohistochemistry is done in-house. EMR system used is Cerner/Voicebrook Dictation System.
