Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Ongoing CRNA assignment beginning November 2018. Day shifts (10s, 12, or 16). Can be scheduled for
4-12’s at straight pay; no premium. May consider an 8-hour shift (starting at 2p or 3p). Interested in a local CRNA to work two 16-hour
shifts/week (7a-11p). No call; all scheduled shifts.
Case mix include ortho, Level I trauma center,
endo, general, OB/GYN. No cardiac work. CRNAs do not place epidurals or blocks. They do
push medication and place arterial lines. Fast-paced environment. Flexibility is key; no clock watchers!
Medically directed. All locums are required to complete
documentation training (takes no more than 30
minutes). Compliance training mandatory; needs to be
completed within 30 days of start. Annual
compliance each fall. QGenda will eventually be utilized for scheduling.
Locums will be required to clock in/out for
reporting purposes only; will still be required to
complete/submit the agency timesheet as usual for
payroll. ACLS required; PALS preferred
