Immediate Primary Care services for military personal
The Army is in need of a qualified and committed provider to serve the military personal and their families at Ft. Polk, LA. The provider can be either board certified or board eligible, and they will consider either a family practice or internal medicine doctor. The provider must have completed a full residency in either family practice or internal medicine. The doctor will be treating 18 years or older patients, and should expect to treat 20-24 patients each day. The provider will be working in an outpatient clinic setting, Monday thru Friday from 730 am to 430 pm. There is no call or overtime expected on this need. The provider will be working as a primary care physician and may be expected to make normal referrals to specialized services when necessary.. Any qualified provider must have at least 2 years of primary care experience in the last 5. The provider must possess solid teamwork and interpersonal skills. The doctor will also be expected to be efficient in using computers and have a working knowledge and experience with EMR systems. The Army uses AHLTA and CHCS as their main EMR systems.
