(Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
A trauma center in the greater Phoenix, AZ area is in need of Interventional radiologist coverage starting September through March 2019 or as soon as credentialing can be completed. The radiologist must have an active AZ license, be board certified, have a DEA, and an ACLS certification. The schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with evening call in rotation 1 day a week and weekend call 1 weekend per month. The schedule can be split between several radiologists and the need is expected to continue for 3-6 months. An average day is 5-10 procedures per day consisting of lighter interventional procedures to higher trauma procedures. When not performing procedures, the expectation is the radiologist will be reading plain film, CT, and US between cases around 45 per day if it is a light procedure day. The PACS is McKesson and the Voice Recognition is Powerscribe 360.
