(Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
Facility in California is seeking an ABR board certified, interventional fellowship trained radiologist for the week of 8/27-8/31/18. Schedule is the day shift 8am to 5pm , no call, Monday through Friday. The radiologist will perform an average of 10-12 interventional cases per day of consisting of bread and butter work since it is a community hospital setting, but the radiologist will occasionally perform a more complex procedure. The procedures consist of all biopsies, all drainages, nephrostomy drainage, biliary tubes, lumbar punctures, myelograms, all arthograms, venograms, hip injections, PICC lines, all other venous vascular access procedures, all angiography, embolizations, angioplasty, coils, and arterial stents. If there is additional time the radiologist will be expected to read plain film, ultrasound, and cat scans from the shared work list. The PACS system is GE and voice recognition is Powerscribe 360. Coverage is needed every week M-F.
