  • October-ongoing; need: 15 shifts/mo.
  • Credentialing in 1-2 weeks, 3-4 preferred (temps w/clean files)
  • 11,000 Annual volume; Level IV Trauma Center 
  • 49 Bed with 7 ED Beds
  • BC or BE ABEM with completion of an ACGME- or AOA- approved postgraduate training program
  • BC or BE  ABFM, IM – with two  years of an ACGME- or AOA- approved, COMPLETED postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty (family practice, emergency medicine, internal medicine)
  • Non Boarded and AAPS must have proven history of emergency medicine in a hospital-based emergency department for the preceding three (3) years with current ACLS, ATLS, PALS and MRT certification
  • All life cert courses (ACLS, PALS, BLS) need to be taken through the AHA on-line site  (which requires a skills testing portion at an approved AHA testing site) or AHA classroom course
  • Mandatory report training (MRT) certification required.  Class offered at hospital
  • Must Have Iowa License, CSA and DEA
  • 24 Hours Physician Coverage (7a-7p and 7p-7a) will allow for 24hr shifts
  • No Midlevel Coverage
  • EMR: T Sheets
  • Paid travel, lodging and medical malpractice
