Pulmonologist-Critical Care - Physician - (Pulmonology - CCU) Locum Tenens

Open Dates: December 21 (am) - 22 (pm), December 26 (am) - January 2 (am), Jan 7 (pm)- 12 (pm), Jan 15 (am) - 19 (pm), Jan 22 (am) - Feb 9 (pm), Feb 28 (am) - March 23 (am). - Round and 24 hr call; Weekends, holiday coverage with sporadic weekday coverage. - BC Pulm or BC Critical Care (does not need to be certified in both, but cannot accept an intensivist). - Procedures: Intubations, vent management, central and arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, interps on PFTs - EMR: Meditech- Writing and dictation. - Yes, ICU involvement - Inpatient census: 10-22 - Ave. # of calls per night: 1-2, usually don't get calls unless something urgent. Consults go to the next day. - 14 ICU beds - Hospitalist do admissions
