Job Description & Requirements


Surgical center shifts will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Clinic shifts will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday and Thursday. Call schedule will be 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, typically on Endo days. Call back typically 20% weekday and 10% weekend. Privileging required and will take approximately 90 days.
Average interactions clinic: 10 per day; 12 scheduled, 2 addons
Average interaction hospital: 2 per day; 1 admission, 1 inpatient
EMR clinic: Epic
EMR hospital: Epic/Proviation

Board Certified 

Areas/Procedures Required:
Outpatient and Inpatient Gastroenterology
- internal medicine (preferred)
Upper GI endoscopy
- with biopsy
- with foreign body removal
- with fulguration of bleeder - cautery v. laser (preferred)
- with injection of varices (preferred)
- with banding of varices (preferred)
- with ERCP (preferred)
- diagnostic (preferred)
- therapeutic (preferred)
- with PEG (preferred)
Esophageal dilatation/manometry (preferred)
Esophageal manometry interpretation (preferred)
Small bowel biopsy (preferred)
Lower GI endoscopy (preferred)
