Job Description & Requirements

Emergency Medicine (ER, EM)

o Will accept PEM/PED 3 Years of PED ER Exp.- experienced with recessution and critically ill children. o Residency Training requirements - PED ER/PEM o Life support requirements -PALS, PEM does not need any. o Physician shift times 24/7 coverage. 7a-7p, 7p-7a (can change if necessary) o Mid-level shifts times - PAs on staff (times N/A) - doing suchering. o Scribes - No scribes. o Codes or admissions required - Respond to codes, and admissions are transferred. o Backup specialties - No PED sub specialties, but all back up is available. U of MD takes critically ill kids and they have an agreement. No inpatient PED unit. Patients are transferred. o Name of EMR system - Cerner dragon dictation o Paid travel, lodging - Yes - looking for docs with least amount of travel. o Will license while credentialing - No
