Job Description & Requirements

OBG Hospitalist

Our Client is seeking a Board Certified OB Hospitalist to assist their growing facility from 2020- 2021.

Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: 9hr. shifts  6a, 2p and 10p
Call Schedule/Responsibilities: NA
Type of Patients/Cases/Procedures: will cover L&D, triage & GYN, antepartum & Postpartum inpatient care
Patients per Day/Volume: 5k/yr. = 13/day
Support Staff: in-house Anesthesia 24/7
Trauma Level: Trauma I
NICU Level: Level III B
Will work alongside midwife on a rotational basis
Lab onsite & ultrasound onsite
EMR: Epic
Nursery Services: Level III B NICU with in-house Anesthesia 24/7
Will cover: Labor & Delivery, Triage & GYN consultations, antepartum & postpartum inpatient care

Required Procedures:
Low-risk pregnancy
High-risk pregnancy
FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE

Routine delivery - vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
Complicated delivery - C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.
Repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations

Not required:
Laparoscopic diagnostic
Operative/major - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal
Laser certification

Certifications and Requirements:
Residency Training- Required
Must be Board Certified, willing to review eligible board-certified candidates.
Must have an active Missouri license
