Immediate Physician Assistant need at Whiteman AFB
The Air Force is in need of physician assistant services at Whiteman AFB, which is about an hour east of Kansas City. The provider can work under any active and unrestricted state license. The provider will need to have completed and be currently certified thru the NCCPA, along with having a non-exempt and fee paid DEA. The provider will be asked to have 24 months of documented experience in a primary care setting in the last 36 months. The practice setting is an out-patient clinic where the provider will be working as a Primary care manager of a panel of patients. The average daily volume is expected to be 20-24 patients per day. These visits will be both new patient and follow-up visits, med-refills, etc. The hours are expected to be Monday thru Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm, and there is no call or overtime expected. A provider must be comfortable with using computers and with EMR systems, and the Air Force uses the AHLTA system.
