Immediate Non- Invasive Cardiology need for Veterans in Pennslvania
The VA at Wilkes Barre in Pennslvania is in urgent need of a board certified or eligible, non-invasive cardiologist. The provider can work with any active state license, and will be asked to obtain a current BLS thru the American Heart Association. The physician will need to have completed a full internal medicine residency. The doctor will be working in a clinic setting, Monday thru Friday from 8am- 4:30pm. There is no on-call or call back expected for this requirement. The provider will be administering, diagnosing, and treating patients using EKG, holters, stress, and echo interpretations. The doctor will also be asked to work directly with residents. The provider should expect to see 10-14 patients per day, both new patients and follow-up's and check-ups. The VA highly prefers doctors that have both EMR experience as well as VA experience. You DO NOT have to have VA experience to qualify for this opportunity. This need is expected for at least 6 months.
