Our panel of experts describes some of those changes, such as the fact that more and more physicians are embracing locum tenens as a lifestyle choice for its flexibility and opportunity.
In addition facilities are increasingly embracing locum tenens workers as well, out of a stronger understanding of their importance in the industry. The net result? In general, there’s more respect for locum tenens workers: “It has a huge place in today’s medicine, which it hasn’t always had.”
