Staff Care Recruiter Spotlight: Noah Zimmerman

Being a successful Staff Care recruiter requires an important characteristic — tenacity. As a recruiter, you have to expect obstacles to come in your way, and learn how to overcome those obstacles and continue working to achieve success. This characteristic has contributed to Noah Zimmerman’s outstanding career as a recruiter on the Staff Care ER team.

Being an outdoorsman at heart, Noah is eager to confront any challenges that come in his path, and come out on top. With such a longstanding career at Staff Care, Noah has become a recruiter that physicians can trust and be assured that they are in the right hands when working with him. He not only contributes to the success of Staff Care as a company, but is also a person that his co-workers can enjoy working with as well.

When Noah isn't hard at work placing physicians and advanced practitioners in health care facilities with a physician shortage, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family anywhere he can.

What’s your back-story? Where did you grow up and go to school?

I grew up in Hamilton, Texas and went to college at Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas. I started selling Kirby vacuums door-to-door out of college and did that for 3.5 years before starting at Staff Care.

What do you like to do for fun outside of work? Do you have any hobbies?

Cut and polish wine bottles to turn them into drinking glasses, hunting down wild game to feed my man-cubs (ages 6 & 3), riding bikes & hiking with my family.

How long have you been working with Staff Care?

Eight years.

What do you enjoy most about your job at Staff Care?

I enjoy the pay and the relationships with my providers and colleagues.

If you could have any job in the world, other than working at Staff Care, what would it be? Why?

Hunting, hiking, & beach tour guide – that’d be a way to enjoy the creative grandeur around us while still being able to work with other people.

What's one of your favorite work-related memories?

One of my favorite memories was the day that Staff Care decided to get back into the ER business.

What is one item you cannot live without?

My lungs.

What is one word to describe yourself?

Tenacious — selling vacuums door-to-door will give you a great appreciation of selling services over the phone and gives you a resolve to press forward despite obstacles.
